Applications

  • The story we live in should shape the strategy we live out.
  • We live in a culture where everyone is wanting to make a name for themselves, driven by a fear of insignificance, a fear of being forgotten. We face the sam pressure of pride for us. This passage shows us that what matters is not our credentials but our connection to Jesus.
  • Genesis 11 gives us a model of ordinary faithfulness combined with a next generation focus all for the sake of Christ. Every bible study you teach, diaper you change, and conversation you have is a part of your ordinary mission.
